Deshpande, Dr. Kuldeep Dole, Dr. Sudhir Sudrik, Dr. Vidya Chelerkar, Dr. Sucheta Kulkarni, Dr. Vipul Vakil presented the papers. Dr. P. Gogate, Dr. R. Deshpande and Dr. Sudhir Sudrik received the best presentation award.

He presented a paper on Prevalence and risk factors for Xerophthalmia children aged 6-72 months in slums of Pune city in Maharashtra state.
