Patient Service at H. V. Desai Eye Hospital
We offer both out-patient services and in-patient services at our hospitals. We have a dedicated team of Ophthalmologists, nursing staff, administrative staff and support staff to ensure that all our patients receive excellent treatment.
Out-patient services
Our Out-patient services work on all days except Sundays and festival holidays. Depending on the nature of the problems, patients are diagnosed and treated as out patients. However, if the treatment requires special procedures or surgeries, patients are advised of the specialty facilities available and are counseled.. We have various sub specialties like phaco. SICS, cornea, glaucoma, squint and pediatric ophthalmology, retina, ROP, , orbit & oculoplasty,. We have full fledge premium appointment section with AC and TV facility where patients are examined by the consultant in separate section in less waiting time. We also have an contact lens and low vision aid, Only one person is allowed to accompany with patient inside the hospital. For children below 12 years / Physically handicapped patient, two attendant are allowed.
In-patient services
We offer state of the art facilities and have 2 operation theatres with 12 tables and one septic OT equipped with latest equipment and trained dedicated personnel. Our in-patient facilities include 200 beds, which consists of deluxe rooms, A/C rooms, single occupancy and general wards. Trained ophthalmic nursing assistants provide Twenty-four hour nursing care. A community floor with dormitory features complements our paid wing. Our in-patient services are fully supported by a drug counter and canteen facilities for the patients as well as their attendants.
Surgery scheduling system
We have a surgery-scheduling system in our counseling department. Our counselors helps patients by fixing appointments for those who require surgery. Patients who require vitreo retinal surgeries are kept in a waiting list and depending on cancellations, patients are allotted suitable time and date for surgery.
